Sonja, Jessie, and Kirsten are thrilled to be joined by Megan once again as they review #Effortistas facts and trivia about the Women’s World Cup. However, they immediately go Off The Rails (alternative name for this episode), despite each having a visible “agenda” they’re meant to stick to.
This is not the World Cup podcast for you if you’re seeking in-depth analysis or a breakdown of significant games. Instead, the team laughs at Kirsten attempting to speak French, gets a little shouty about the quality of certain soccer broadcasts, provide quite…unusual breakout stars of the tournament, and theorizes about the type of makeup these women must be wearing to still look amazing after 90+ minutes.
Overall, they come to the conclusion that women’s football is amazing and they all need to commit to finding ways to watch it more often. But, uh…there’s a secret question hidden in this podcast, so you’re going to need to make it all the way through to find what we’re asking of you…
