Kirsten, Jessie, and Megan are back for another episode of 21 Thunder. Instead of commentating, in this episode your fearless hosts decide to attempt a recap of the episode to varying degrees of success. Episode four, aptly titled “Fixed,” focuses on the match-fixing plot line and Nolan’s quest for revenge.
Kirsten is disappointed with the match-fixing strategy, which is a detriment to Lara’s character development. We finally learn more about Junior’s motivation for moving to Montreal, including the developing relationship with Fatima. Sly continues to be our favorite character because of his pure love and support for his brother, while Kirsten is still skeptical about Davey.
Jessie and Megan continue to gush over Alex, despite his poor decision making in this episode. Nolan organizes an internship for Emma to help her medical school application, and we get to continue wondering how many physios a U21 team needs.
We come away with a few questions about the episode: Why is Special K such a jerk? Can we punch Christy’s brother? Will Kirsten finally figure out the difference between brunette characters by the end of the series? Tune into this episode to find out if we get answers.
