Megan, Jessie, and Kirsten return with commentary for 21 Thunder episode five (“Heaven or Hell”). In this episode, Christy and Nolan face humiliation on the field while Junior goes from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows.
We all agree that most people are dealing with anxiety and frustration with the current pandemic, so we hope that our continued 21 Thunder watch party provides a distraction, even if it is only for an hour. Join us this week as we delve into the complicated relationship between the U21 side and the first team. The coaches and players have complex relationships, though perhaps overshadowed by Big Snack’s relationship. Meanwhile, Tran is a sub-par babysitter for Sly while Junior goes on the road with the first team. Most of our players make poor decisions, and it is helpful to remember that they are supposed to be under 21.
With a quick drink break, we continue to wonder if Canada is ready for our Mountie-branded condoms. The most important part of the episode is that, for the foreseeable future, we have a sign off.
