Episode 6 of the Unusual Ef’pod has wrapped! This time around, Megan, Kirsten, and Jessie talk about why they love the soccer teams they do—and reveal the sides they loved before landing on these particular clubs. They also give sage advice to their moms, who may not be huge football fans, but are ardent supporters of their children. These moms tend to get confused as to the difference between league and tournament play, and sometimes get muddled about which teams they’re meant to be rooting for, so the Effortistas attempt to clear that all up.
Sprinkled throughout are stories from our listeners, who wrote in to tell us how they found their clubs. We heard tales of everything from team colors being passed down to finding a side because they were mentioned in Hitchhikers’ Guide to the Galaxy.
