For our first minisode, we could think of no better guest than having June team up with Bundesliga-loving/suffering fan Megan. This slightly extended minisode is a perfect snapshot of future exclusive episodes. It’s unstructured, slightly scattered, but ultimately comes up with great talking points (see above tweet).
Going in with a plan to basically pitch for Timo Werner to stay at Leipzig (or in the Bundesliga) and Kai Havertz to flee to whatever big name/big money club comes calling, the episode included much more. The disappointment of cancelled players, a systemic failure by the DFB, and mental health are all on the table during this conversation.
As promised, we include pictures of Rani Khedira turning out hot, videos of the Leipzig Season Opener/fan day in 2015, and ignorance of the scientific twitter poll that suggested mentioning Schalke (because once we get started, we may never stop).
